Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs my entire life. I grew up with a pekingese and border collie. My love for my parents dogs was so apparent, that our neighbors designated me as their pet sitter from the age of 14. Word spread throughout my hometown and I spent my entire summers booked with pet sitting from ages 14-22. I have the most experience with golden retrievers, german shephards, austrailian shephards, chow chows, and more due to reoccurring hires. I have one dog, Myles. He is such a love bug and gets along with every dog he meets. My favorite hobby is dog photography, so your pet will likely be sent home with some photos of all the fun they had in my care!

This review is long overdue. McKenzie was a lifesaver for me and my fur children . She is the most compassionate, caring pet sitter ever. Let me tell you why… I was sent on a work trip to New York. And as soon as I booked she offered to come meet my dog and cat first which is awesome! It was supposed to be an easy 1.5 day trip. Unfortunately United cancelled my flight not once but two days in a row! She let me rebook and was there for them. McKenzies communication was outstanding and her willingness to help was a lifesaver! Not to mention she’s an excellent photographer!! Took the best pictures of my pets I’ve ever seen. I have no family here after moving cross country and she really came to my rescue. She even washed my dog and brought over her own food for my cat when I ran out…. Like I said.. incredible and thoughtful. So kind. I won’t book with anyone else after my excellent experience . And I just want to say after moving cross country and not knowing anyone.. having someone be so thoughtful really means a lot (:
Mckenzie is the best pet sitter there is. She is always my first choice when looking for someone to watch my furry friend while I'm out of town. She takes great care to ensure I have updates while I'm out and sends great pictures of him. She's so caring and even brought special toys for him to play with. I can't recommend Mckenzie highly enough. If I could rate her higher I would.

My neighborhood is very pet friendly. My yard is not fenced in, but there is a fenced in dog park at the complex. I enjoy taking dogs on walks. My home is very pet proof with plenty of toys and beds.

Does your dog have a history of mounting others? That is the one behavior Myles does not tolerate, so I prefer to watch your male dog is he is neutered.
A typical day
Your dog will spend the day however they feel most comfortable. I have two baskets full of toys, brain stimulation toys, and multiple beds for naps/break spaces. Myles loves to play with dogs of all sizes, and is a great host to his furry friends. He shares all of his belongings with zero aggression. If your dog requires high exercise, I live in a dog friendly neighborhood where we can go for walks or play with a chuck it/frisbee in a fenced in area.

Availability
I am a teacher, so I have full availability during fall/winter/summer/spring breaks. On breaks I am home every day with nothing to do but give my dog (and yours!) love and attention. When school is in session, I have weekend availability only.
