Pet care experience
Adventurous and active millennial who enjoys going for runs or cuddling up to a good movie! I love hanging out with my three dogs, Lola (7 year old female Golden Retriever, 50 lbs), Levi (5 year old male Golden Retriever, 50 lbs) who currently live with me and Marvin (11 year old male Border Collie Blue Heeler, 45 lbs) who currently lives with my parents but visits often. We spend most of our free time outside in our yard and at the nearby lakes and trails. We do love to relax at home as well and binge our favorite series! Looking forward to meeting you and your furry best friend! Skills: Cared for dogs for 10+ years (2 of my own) Worked as a Kennel Assistant - very familiar with dog behavior and training

My two semi-senior dogs sure seemed to have a great time during their week with McKenzie. They received plenty of exercise and attention, got along well with McKenzie's chill pack, and were happy and healthy when I picked them up. It felt like they were allowed to be themselves, whether that was snuggling on the couch or taking up too much of the bed. Highly recommend, will book with her again.
McKenzie was amazing. I’m a meeting planner and needed a person to watch a VIPs dog. Well, he conducted two days of meetingsin Minneapolis. I managed her stay remotely from New Jersey with my staff in Minneapolis. She was reliable and always got back to me, which was most important. She was always on time and available and absolutely loved the time together with her. We did three visits a day and the rest of the time Abby spent in the hotel room on her own. Thanks so much

I have a decent sized fenced in yard with multiple dogs to hang with your pup. Every dog gets a "safe space" set up where they can eat, sleep and relax. Each area is in its own room equipped with blankets and food and water bowls. I also have a dog camera that I like to set up if I need to leave your pooch for a few hours. I try my best to never leave your pup for more than a few hours. We are also walking minutes away from a lake where we can enjoy afternoon strolls and swims as well! I am conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the MSP Airport for anyone hopping on a flight! There is plenty of street parking if clients would like to leave their vehicle when they drop off their pet and uber/lyft to the airport from here..ride shares usually range from $10-$40 from this location depending on time of day etc… I do offer rides when ride share is unavailable :)

A typical day
We are up for anything and everything! From basking in the sun all day in the yard to cuddling up on the couch to a good movie. We are an active bunch who love to go for hikes, walks and runs along with paddle sports and swimming! I do like to let clients know prior if I plan on doing a more intense activity like water sports/running/hiking to make sure the pup is capable of said activity. With that being said we do love our days spent indoors reading a book and being lazy too!

Availability
I am currently transitioning to hybrid work and will be at my home full-time during the week along with available weekends. Most of my professional career prior to this has been caring for many different animal species!
