I’ve pet sat for many family members and grew up with two large dogs; one Huskey and one Japanese Akita! I also grew up with a cat.

I like to ask my clients for a list of “rules” for their pet, where everything is, emergency contacts, how I can reach out, etc. Communication is key to me! I would prefer not to have the pets in my home as I live in a very small apartment with no yard.

Please let me know if your dog has any specific behaviors I should know about. For example, if they prefer heat over the cold or vice versa, if they only like to be pet in certain areas, their specific commands, if they have a bone or toy in their mouth, how should I get it from them to keep playing? The more information I know the better :)
A typical day
I personally love to go on walks and bringing your dog with me is even better!! If your dog prefers to play in your backyard, I love to do that too! I had a husky growing up so, I have lots of experience with energetic dogs!

Availability
I’m currently working full time (M-F, 8-5). I typically like to get my workouts in in the morning so I’m available most nights and weekends! I also get one hour lunches every day at work.
