Pet care experience
I have many years of pet and home care experience, both on Rover and not, in several different states and 2 countries. I have a great understanding of how to help pet parents feel comfortable and able to trust that their babies are happy and healthy, so that they can enjoy their time away! With my work style I can’t have pets of my own yet, so Rover sitting is my way of getting that furry friend time in. I will treat your babies as though they are my own!

McKenna did awesome from start to finish. Our first time using rover and she eased our minds and worries from the beggining. She Was very great with our little fur baby and sent updates and pictures everyday while we were away. Do not hesitate using her for your needs she’s amazing!

From my experience, tired dogs are the happiest dogs, so I will make lots of time keeping active with walks, ball chasing and toy playing. I can accommodate all breeds of dogs and of all abilities. I have gotten experience in implementing all kinds of different health needs for dogs, and so with just a detailed explanation beforehand I should be able to make sure you dog sticks to their routine.
A typical day
Hiking, walk, ball throwing. I think an active dog is a happy dog but I also can appreciate a sleepy pup and provide them a nice place to relax. Public trails are my typical walk spots.

Availability
My name is McKenna, and I am from Palmer, Alaska. I am a biologist in the offshore field, so I leave for multi week rotations and return to Alaska for 4-5 weeks at a time. During my rest time I am typically not working, so that leaves lots of time to dedicate to you pets. If I am home during your planned trips, send me a request!
