Pet care experience
Whenever house sitting for people, having the pets pottied, fed, and kept safe is my top priority. I make sure to watch out for what the dogs are up to and am never away from the house for long periods of time so the dogs are not alone for too long. I mostly prefer house sitting because the dogs are in an environment that they are comfortable and familiar with. I love puppies and old timers and have taken care of a wide range of animals including rodents and reptiles. The more pets the merrier! I like to clean up the house and leave it nicer than I showed up so the owners are greeted with a clean house after a long day of travel.

I could relax and focus on my vacation, knowing McKenna was watching our pets and home! She does great with our elderly cats and dog. She leaves the house very clean and she even made sure everything was ok during a winter storm. Will book again!

I always like to ask what vet is used and if there’s foods I should make sure to avoid with certain animals. If they have any medication I like to know that. If there’s any behavioral changes I always find that important to know.
A typical day
I love to get out some energy with a walk- there’s some safe public trails around Wasilla and Palmer that I often go to and know well. I’ve taken dogs on walks there many times. I also love to play with toys, such as tug of war or fetch. A happy tired dog is better than a cooped up dog.
