** I am back on Rover after maternity leave! I had my baby back in June 2023 and took a couple of months to recover! I am so excited to start watching pets again! Please read the following to get to know me! ** I am a certified veterinarian assistant since 2018. I worked at VCA Willow Creek Pet Center for almost 3 years as a veterinary technician! I have worked in a doggy daycare for over a year that housed over 50 dogs a day, and I worked in puppy day care for a year. I have over 18 years of experience with animal care. I am breed savvy and know what type of animal needs what kind of care. I am also well experienced with senior and special need pets. I’m very comfortable giving medication. I have lots of experience giving injected medications, such as insulin. I currently do not have any animals in my home. I, sadly, lost my golden retriever not too long ago and have not found it in my heart to get another animal just yet. I am a stay at home mom to two kiddos! My kids leave pets alone, but I do ask that your pet is friendly with kids! We live in a pet-friendly apartment that allows all cats but does not allow bully breeds. There is an enclosed area for dogs to run and play! I will take them there a few times a day, unless your pet is not friendly with dogs. Then we will take walks around the complex! I have lots of time on my hands and love to take care of animals! I also love to send lots of pictures during stays! Please don’t be afraid to message/text me to see how your pet is doing!

Thank you so much for Mckell for the help watching Luna. My puppy, Luna, loved staying with her family and enjoyed as much play time with their kids. Luna has been super tired since I came back from vacation. I highly recommend her with your dogs. It’s always scary finding someone to trust watching your puppy and building that trust. I just moved here and looked at the reviews. I’d definitely have her watch Luna in the future. She was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had regarding Luna’s health. She sent tons of videos and photos and my puppy looked super happy. I appreciate how Luna had a ton of fun and Mckell took her out and updated me on if my puppy peed and pooped. Thank you Mckell for everything and I’ll be sure to recommend you for anyone looking for a sitter.
McKell was so good to my frenchie, she seemed so happy. I received lots of pictures and updates on Maia. I would definitely leave Maia with McKell on more occasions.
McKell was AMAZING! She was extremely communicative during her stay and I never had to worry about my girls!
McKell was so incredible! She took care of our dog for 6 days and sent many pictures everyday with updates on how our pup was doing! We highly recommend her.

I have a deadlock on our front door so no one can come in or out unless I am there to unlock it! I will always put on a collar/harness and leash before we go outside! We also have an enclosed dog park so if I have permission to take your dog in there, I will always make sure to leash them back up before opening the gate! We can do a meet and greet in person or on the phone so you can check out our home and the surroundings!

I would like to know if your pet is up to date on vaccines, specifically rabies. I will also want to know if your pet is okay with kids. I have a 2.5 year old and a 9m old. They typically leave pets alone, unless your pet wants to play with them! My kids have been around pets their whole life. Both of my kids are quiet and calm. If you’re not sure how your pet would do with kids, we can meet at the dog park/grass area (for dogs) and in my home (for cats and dogs if needed) so we can make sure we are a good fit for you and your pet! I would also love to know if your pet is okay with dogs. I’ll always check with you before, because we have a small dog park area that I would love to take your dog to!
A typical day
In a typical day, we will all go potty first thing in the morning then have breakfast! We will go out again after breakfast! We love to watch movies, so we can relax until lunch time! Once lunch time comes, we can go out to go potty again then eat lunch! Then after that, we can go to the dog park (if that’s something you are comfortable with me doing) to play and run! Then we will come back, relax, give lots of pets/rubs. I’ll send pictures all throughout the day. Once dinner comes, we will eat then go potty. Then we will go potty right before bed! If your pet needs to go out more, we can definitely do that! We only have to go down one flight of stairs to get to the grass! So it’s very easy for me to do!

Availability
During your pets stay, we will go on walks, play and get lots of pets! We will go on as many walks as needed! We have very easy access to grass and a dog park area so we will go there too to play and get energy out! We are a very relaxed family so your pet can lounge on the couch with us and feel at home! I will do anything to accommodate to your pets needs!
