Pet care experience
Hi I’m Mckayla! I am an Army spouse registered nurse. I absolutely adore all animals and I’m looking to take care of your fur-babies! I grew up having dogs, specifically Samoyeds, and trained my first pup when I was 10 years old. I currently have two pups: Winry the Pyrenees and Itachi the Shar pei mix. They both love to be friends and play with anything that moves. However, if your pet doesn't do well with others they can easily be separated for individual attention. I worked in a kennel/boarding center when I was younger. I am reliable on sticking to routines, meals and medication administration. I may not know how to properly groom(haircut) a pup but I can definitely give baths!

McKayla was awesome ! She took care of Noah as if he were her own. I received many photos & videos from her during the course of his stay. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again.
McKayla is great with Pepper. From an excellent meet and greet into twice a week drop off. I don't worry about her while I'm at work. Yours will be well cared for.
Hazel always has a great time at McKayla’s house always comes back tired after playing with her 2 dogs and sends daily pictures or videos would recommend McKayla to anyone!

I currently live within the secure area of Fort Belvoir Army post. If you happen to live off post, I would be able to meet you for pickups and drop offs outside of post. My home has a fenced in back yard. We also have a large dog play area as well as a walking trail 5mins from home. Of course with your permission. My husband is the only other person in the house who loves getting down to your pup’s level to play! We also have extra toys, beds, and a crate.

Is your pup up to date with vaccines/medications. Any Allergies? Any medical conditions? Spayed/Neutered? What is their typical routine? Daily diet? Exercise? Potty trained? How often do they need to go out? Caged at night/alone or free to roam? Are they friendly with other doggos? Any behavioral concerns? Need training to continue while you’re away? **Must do a Meet and Greet prior to booking** ***Must provide up-to-date vaccines/shots prior to booking*** Unfortunately, I’m allergic to cats so I cant cat sit :(
A typical day
We have plenty of walking paths around our home! There is a large doggy park within a 5min drive. My pups love car rides and yours can come to! (Just give notice if your pup likes to jump out windows). We also like cuddling up on couches to watch movies. Our Itachi boy loves being under blankets during cuddles so we have extras!

At the moment, I am a stay home dog mom. We recently moved to Fort Belvoir. I am very flexible in my schedule! I am able to provide your pet with a loving, comfortable place to stay.
