Pet care experience
Since I have known myself (and growing up in a farm), I have always had pets, and throughout the years have taken care of them in different environments (apartments, farms, townhomes, single family homes, etc.) and geographic locations. Because my husband and I like to travel, and do not have a lot of family around to help, we understand the frustration of trying to find a nice, responsible, loving, knowledgeable, experienced caretaker that can keep you updated when you are out of town so that you can truly relax and have peace of mind. Also, I understand how many furry babies get separation anxiety when Mommy and Daddy are not around, and will need extra “lovies”, attention, activities, and play time- which I am more than happy to give! That is why I will take care of your pet as if it was my own: the way we would like our own pets to be treated. Also, you will have peace of mind knowing that I am trained in canine first aid and CPR, and can administer medications if needed. My family and I have recently relocated from Miami, FL to the Naples/Ft.Myers, FL area. While I am unable to care for any pets in my own home at this time, I can watch pets in the owner’s own home. Because I work from my computer, my schedule is very flexible. I love taking pictures- you will certainly not lack an abundance of pictures/videos showing you how your little princess/prince is doing :) In short, I offer peace of mind and great, dedicated, professional, loving pet care in a safe environment: their own home!!

Mayra is the BEST! We feel so lucky that she looked after our two fur babies, one of whom is needy at the ripe old age of 15 and the other younger one a high-strung escape artist. They were well taken care of for the two weeks that we traveled. She shared pictures and videos of the dogs daily. Most important, she totally "gets" dogs and is a pro at making them feel comfortable. We could not be happier with her care and will definitely seek to rebook her in the future.
This was our first time using Rover and we feel like we hit the jackpot with Mayra, we are so thankful we chose her! Her and her husband were so kind & welcoming. They took excellent care of Benji and provided plenty of updates & photos. I can’t recommend her enough!
This was Roxy’s first time being boarded. Mayra was amazing! She sent daily updates with pictures which was comforting. Roxy seemed to enjoy her stay and will definitely leave her again.
Mayra was absolutely amazing! We knew Roscoe was in great hands while we were away. She has a wonderful setup and yard for dogs to play in. She also kept us informed the entire stay with pictures and daily updates. We'll definitely be booking with Mayra & Steve again.

A typical day
You will notice I will be very sensitive and alert to your pet’s behavior. Their comfort and safety will be a priority. With your permission, I can take him/her/them to the nearest dog park or on long, fun walks through your neighborhood :)
