Pet care experience
I graduated from UC Davis in June 2021, with a major in animal science. I took courses regarding animal communication, animal welfare, animal ethics, animal behavior, companion health, and many more. I am currently further expanding my animal experience to eventually attend veterinary school and pursue a career in veterinary medicine. I have worked at multiple vet clinics as a veterinary assistant/tech, so I am familiar with being able to give medications, note any abnormalities and general animal health. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and cats! I have had many pets growing up, such as birds, cats, dogs, reptiles, bunnies, etc. so I am familiar with the amount of attention, care and love animals require.My happiness is seeing animals happy, safe, and be taken care of with proper handling, management, and feed. I will ensure dogs acquire the exercise they need along with the attention and love! Please support me and my services. Animals are my love and joy.

Although we missed our babies soooo much during the weekend for two nights because we love them soooo much like family, Mayra made us feel at ease because she was following up on how they’re doing overall and sharing photos of them ❤️ We are all very pleased!!!? ?
Mayra ia caring, patient, and communicated with us our entire trip, messaging us with photos and updates. At one point our puppy was out of piddle pads and she got some. I also noticed some extra treats in her bag when we got home. She has such a sweet demeanor. Our dog had a wonderful time snuggling with Mayra while we were away. I highly recommend her services.
Mayra is a very loving and caring person and will do anything to make sure that your pet is happy and safe. She is a true animal lover and has great passion for animals. I recommend Mayra because she has veterinary experience and has lots of experience working with animals.

I ensure that pets are kept isolated and have enough room to freely move and walk around. I am well aware of animal communication as well, so I can differentiate when an animal is distressed, angry, upset, or frightened. I monitor the animals constantly and make sure that the animal is clean, has available food and water (depending on the owner's requests), has no injuries, and are able to express their natural behavior(s).

A typical day
I will provide sensory enrichment to dogs, such as new areas in which they can smell, hear, or see different areas. I will also provide enrichment feeding, play with them, and interact with them. I will ensure that whichever pet I take care of receives enough activity by going to the park, walk around the neighborhood, or take them to a nature trail nearby - and also provide lots of LOVE.
