Pet care experience
Growing up, I had a ton of pets in my family--dogs, cats, reptiles, chinchillas, and a bunny! Now that I don't have a pet of my own, I'd love to help care for someone else's. I know how to care for animals, wash them, walk them, clean cages, and of course, play and cuddle :) I'd love to help those in my community and give squeezes to their little furbabies!

Mayah was great! She house-sat and hung out with our kitty Maile over the holidays. Mayah gave us regular updates with pictures and was a great buddy for Maile. She also left the house looking great! We would definitely book Mayah again.

Mayah was the best bunny mother I’ve ever met. She loved her bunny fiercely. When watching my family’s pets, she cared for them as if they were her own. Dogs, cats, and rabbits alike, she loves them all.

I have a small, clean space where I could care for a pet if needed. When entering client's homes, I find it important to respect their space and keep the pet comfortable. I find that animals do best in the environment they're used to, so I'll happily travel to them or stay with them at their home to make them happy :)

Information Mayah V. would like to know about your pet
It’s important to know the pet’s usual routine and behaviors, that way I’m equipped to know if they are acting strange or different. I’d like to know when they usually eat, walk, nap, etc. and of course if there is any significant medical information or injuries to be careful of.
A typical day
This completely depends on the dogs personality and usual routine! If I’m watching a relaxed fluffer, I’m all in for a day cuddling on the couch with a few walks throughout the day to get our legs moving, or maybe a relaxing day in the park. For the active puppers, I love to go on easy hikes like Manoa Falls or Aeia Loop. My building also has a small dog park where we can play with toys and get out all of our zoomies.

Availability
Up until this past year, I had a pet rabbit who I'd been caring for 7 years. I understand the needs of animals and how that fits into an average day. I work a great schedule that leaves me with plenty of free time that I would love to fill with some great animals :)
