I have taken care of pets since I was young. I have watched dogs for friends for the weekend as the family of the pet went on vacation. I have previously been asked to feed, walk, and ensure there is water and toys available for the pets to play with.

If your dog is in my care, I would definitely go to the park and walk around the park (leashed of course) to help exert their energy in a healthy way.
