My 1 star rating is based on lack of responsibility. I booked Maya to house pet sit my two dogs for 5 days and 4 nights. The service started July 8 at 5:00 PM (my dogs eat between 5-5:30 PM) and ended on July 12 at 5:00 PM. On the first day, July 8, she didn't get to the house until around 9:30 PM due to issues with her phone. My dogs ate late that night. Saturday, July 9, she took care of them in the morning and at noon, and texted some pictures and short videos. She left around 5:40 ish PM and never came home that night. After monitoring the camera for several attempts to check if she was home and she wasn't, and trying many attempts on contacting her on her phone via calls and texts without any luck, I had to get a neighbor to go let my dogs out because at this point it has been about 6 hours + since she left. They needed to go potty before bedtime. Sunday, July 10 at 6:54 AM she again had issues with her phone, and sent a text saying she was on her way back to the house. On July 12, her last day, she left in the afternoon after dinner time. When we got home, her stuff were still at the house, once again, I tried to contact her by calling her, she didn't respond. When she did at 12:54 AM, she said she accidentally had fallen asleep. She couldn't come get her stuff until the next day in the afternoon. The dogs had a couple of accidents because they didn't go potty on time. In fact, when we got home, we had to clean up the mess.

We had Maya watch our three large dogs for four days this month. This was our first time using Rover and we were so impressed. We had Maya do two stop in visits each day, with one visit being an extended stay. We loved how she came to the house ahead of time to meet our pups and to see what all she needed to do. She was responsive the entire stay and sent us many videos and photos as requested. You can tell she is a animal lover at heart and she really showed our dogs some love while we were gone. It was so relieving to know our fur babies were well taken care of while we were gone, and to know our house was protected and safe too. We highly recommend using Maya to watch your paw kiddos. I know we will be using her again for sure! Thank you so much Maya! You were the best!
