We offer walks, drop in visits, medical visits, and updates throughout the day. Just let us know how often you would like to hear from us, and we’ll do our best to make it happen!

Information Maya M. would like to know about your pet

Proof of Core Vaccinations is required (a.k.a. Rabies, Distemper-Parvo, Bordetella). We'll make considerations for puppies still receiving boosters, and seniors or pets who have been exempted by their primary veterinarian. Leptospirosis vaccine is a plus, but is not required. Please note that we're in Florida and wildlife is abundant; if your pet goes on walks or potty breaks he or she could be exposed to the leptospira bacteria, and this is a ZOONOTIC disease. Leptospirosis is spread by the urine of rodents. Our yard is being treated with a pet-safe insecticide every 30-45 days, and therefore ticks and fleas are kept at bay, but it is still very important that your pets are on flea/tick prevention and free of those at the time of boarding. Please give us a heads up if your pup suffers from separation anxiety so we can accommodate our schedule to fit their needs, and provide extra hugs and kisses :) Puppies that are not yet house broken are not a problem; we are trained to deal with it, and our own doggy, Duke will teach them "the ways of the peeing outside" LOL. Older pups with some incontinence are also welcome, but they might be required to wear doggy diapers or belly bands. Females on heat are not a problem, but they will be required to wear doggy diapers :), to avoid messes and unexpected babies! Expecting moms won't be a problem, as long the approximate due date does not fall into the stay or close by. Vet's info will have to be provided and arrangements made prior to the stay to begin, just in case mom rushes to deliver while in our care. Please let us know of any extra care needs, tips, or any general information that you think might help your pet feel more at home while staying with us. We have a loving, peaceful, stress-free, fun and caring set up here; and will go the extra mile to make sure all our kids feel right at home, and want everything to go smoothly.

A typical day

Active pups are our passion; therefore running, jogging, swimming time, and occasionally hiking would be some of the activities your pup will enjoy while staying with us. We welcome snuggle-bugs also; and they will enjoy lots of hugs, kisses, snuggles, and attention while being surrounded with tons of toys and love. Unless you trained them otherwise, everybody is allowed on furniture here, we have pet-proofed our home to make it safe and comfortable for all of our little babies! If you prefer them to be off the furniture, please let us know and we'll comply with it (even tho we really enjoy snuggle time) :D We have a ample sort of beds, crates, toys, water and food bowls, etc. for your pets to use while here. Please note these are used and thoroughly washed and disinfected after every meal, preventing any territoriality or resource guarding. You're NOT required to provide any of those, but please feel free to bring your own if that makes feel you more comfortable; all beds need to be washable as on occasion, as we all know, pups will be pups and might have an accident. Each pup must bring their own specific food, to avoid food allergies and/or intestinal issues, and please let us know if there's any history of food/treat guarding reactivity. We feed pups separately, ensuring everybody is eating and not getting into each other's bowls.
