Doggone Good Walker/Sitter! I am active, attentive and I love building a relationship with dogs and other pets. If your dog is high energy, I can run and exercise them until your pooch is pooped! Don't have a high energy dog or space to run? I can play games like fetch and tug-of-war, I can be a good hang-out companion and give a plethora of belly rubs. It's just as fun for me as it is for them; I have a Master's degree in psychology and one of my primary obsessions has been learning about animal behavior and actively seeking out ways that humans can better communicate with their pets to generate mutual understanding and love. I often get to enjoy teaching my best friend's FOUR dogs obedience and games and I take them to the dog park. I have cared for dogs with special needs and strict diets and I am no stranger to caring for other types of pets as well (chickens, guinea pigs...you name it!). While my current living accommodations do not afford me my own dog, I look forward to getting to know the unique personality of yours!

Maya is a committed bird owner, and has on countless occasions not only taken care of my cats and dogs, but family and friends as well. She has worked as an assistant to a Havanese dog breeder and during that time took the highest level of care of pregnant moms and newborn pups. She is very kind and easy to get along with, and she is very flexible which makes it easy to plan the care of the pet with her. She is also an active person and has no issue taking long walks or going to the park to exercise your pet. To make it even better her boyfriend is a Emergency Medicine Veterinarian and she is good friends with another veterinarian as well. If I lived closer to Maya I would ask her to be the caretaker of my pets more often, as I trust her completely with the care of my animals.
We have four rescue dogs. They range in energy from mellow to very energetic. They all love exercise. Maya has walked our dogs many times and they love to be with her. She is kind, easy going, reliable and does an excellent job. We HIGHLY recommend her.
I highly recommend Maya as a dog sitter. Maya is intelligent, compassionate, and trustworthy. I would trust my animals with her at any time. Maya will treat your pet with the same love and respect as if they were her own. I have fairly high standards as I am a veterinarian, and I would trust Maya with my animals at any time.
Maya has been dogsitting Okie since he was a newborn and I could not ask for a better caregiver. She loves dogs and they seem to love her! My dog is happy and eager to leave whenever she comes to collect him and that says a lot to me about her caring and treatment of him. I am delighted to have her as my sitter. I recommend her without reservation
