If you’re looking for someone to love your dog as much as you do, look no farther! As a child, I would send my family photos of dogs with facts about their breed until I adopted my pup, Marley, when I was 10. I’ve been dog-sitting since I can remember, as well as walking dogs from yorkies to bernese mountain dogs. I’ve also been able to watch young pups to elderly dogs. I also have experience with gentle leaders and harnesses for walking dogs. I’m also a 5 star rated belly stratcher for your dog!

Maya was fantastic with our dog Roo! She responded quickly to our booking request, was very flexible, and was so kind and loving to Roo. She sent pics and communicated with us while we were away. We will definitely use Maya again in the future :)
Maya was very responsive and took great care of our dog, who seemed very happy when we picked her up!
Maya took care of our six year old dog who takes medication for anxiety for two nights. She was warm and accommodating. A bit of a mixup at pickup time was mostly our fault.

I have no preferences regarding breed. I grew up with a Cavalier/Bichon mix and a golden retriever and have dog sat for a variety of breeds throughout the year. Any information about their routine and what makes them feel most comfortable is very helpful! It’s also helpful to know house rules you’d like to be enforced, their socializing habits, as well as favorite treats and toys.
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks. When dogs need a little extra simulation, I hide toys and have them use their smelling skills to find their treat/toys. I've additional done "puzzles" with their food by using muffin tins and tennis balls to add additional mental stimulation. I love being around dogs, so if your pet needs to cuddle after a full day of playing, I am more than happy to give them all the love in the world.

Availability
I work from home 2x/week and go in to the office Monday-Wednesday on the UWS. I enjoy going for walks and heading to the park with active dogs. I always make sure all animals are in a safe environment and feel as comfortable as possible by incorporating things from your routine/life with them into their stay with me.
