Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Maya, an enthusiastic Biology student and total animal lover. My dog (Noodles), who I’ve looked after since she was a puppy, has recently turned 13 🎉 I’ve experienced caring for her both through her excitable and sociable puppy years and her more tranquil later years. I’ve also dog sat for multiple of my neighbours and friends large dogs so have experience with a variety of temperaments. One of the the most fun experiences has been with Leo, an energetic golden retriever. I’m happy to walk dogs on or off the lead, be playful or calm and can easily adapt to your pooches needs. I also have experience walking and sitting for multiple dogs at a time! Be sure to see your pup(s) returned all tired out and happy. 🐶 I also adore cats and have experience cat sitting including feeding, letting out and emptying litter trays.🐱

I have great knowledge of my local Durham area and can pick the best walking route to suit your dogs needs. At home I can tell my my dog is in a playful mood or would prefer to sleep and respect her wants and needs. Noodles also requires a special food diet which I mix up for her every morning and evening so am happy to do the same for your dog.

A typical day
I enjoy letting dogs explore and sniff as they go (as long as it’s safe!). My favourite walks are around Wharton park, the local nature reserves and along the river. I love playing stimulating games, and have a great throw for fetch. I also enjoy speaking to your dogs to either excite or calm them.

Availability
As a student I usually only have a few contact hours a day during the week so I’ll have plenty of time for your pooches! Weekend walks are also perfect for me 🐶
