Pet care experience
I'll treat your pet like my own - they'll even get their very own cute nickname to take home. I moved here about three years ago and I am an animal lover that misses her German Shepherd at home dearly! In addition to the experience I have caring for my own dog, I have experience pet-setting and dog walking on Rover and for friends/family with all different types and sizes of pups. I have used Rover for over 5 years now and love the time I get to spend with the pups I walk or cats I sit. I have reliable transportation and am detail-oriented so I will follow any instructions you have for me to the T! I am experienced with shy or scared dogs and will take the time to build trust with your dog if need be.

I am very respectful of all of my client's homes and always keep in mind that I am a stranger entering your dog/cats comfortable space the first few times. I require a meet-up to meet your dog before the booking, preferably in or near your home so that they feel comfortable with me there. Other than that, I will care for your dog in your home as I would for my own dog in mine.

A typical day
I love to go for walks and explore the neighborhoods surrounding mine (especially Ghent as I love the beautiful homes) so your dog will enjoy a nice walk, some exploring, and plenty of sniffing.

Availability
I work full-time from home and have a flexible schedule, I block off Tuesday and Wednesday as those are my busiest days but can sometimes make that work if need be. With advance notice, I can drop in for a walk whenever is needed.
