Pet care experience
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had large dogs, cats, and other small furry pets! I have provided formal pet sitting and house sitting services to friends, colleagues, and supervisors many times over the past 4 years. I am a Roanoke native and am very familiar with the area! I enjoy walking and playing with dogs (I’ve always had large dogs as pets), or just chilling and cuddling - whatever suits your pets needs and energy levels! My dog has significant health issues so I am very familiar with keeping pets on a medicine/feeding schedule, regular bathing/spraying/grooming, etc. I’m a student, so I am primarily available in the evenings, although I only have classes 3 days per week. I have plenty of time to spend with your pet, and I commit to play and walks to help them get out some energy! I will care for your pets in your home! I’m respectful of your rules/boundaries, and will make sure your space remains as clean and organized as when I first arrived. I’m happy to clean any pet messes and make sure your pet is taken care of in the comfort of its home!

Maya did an amazing job!! She was so patient with my 6 rescues and they all seemed to adjust to her quickly that they wanted to cuddle with her❤️. She also sent photos and kept me updated. Since, one of my furbabies is a bit of a naughty boy, she cleaned up the mess he made when he managed to open my bedroom door?! I will definitely be using her again in the future!
Maya was wonderful with Trigger and sent me lots of pictures. He seemed to really love her and she kept him busy both at home and at the dog park! She went above and beyond prior to leaving my apartment by vacuuming and washing the sheets she had used. I would recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter and will be booking with her again in the future!
Maya was my cat/house sitter until, sadly, she moved away. Every time I took a trip, I rested easy knowing that my cat, Grayson, was under her care. Not only is Maya dependable and responsible, but she is kind and loving as well. Grayson loved her, and Maya would often send me text photos of the two of them playing or lounging around. This gave me extra assurance that all was well on the home front! Grayson and I both miss Maya and anyone to have her as a sitter is lucky!
She's the type of person to go above & beyond when it comes to animals. Animals know a compassionate soul when they see one, and dogs love her. I have witnessed her nurture her own dog back to health from illusive issues. She may love that dog more than her own brother. ;)

A typical day
I love long walks with your dog to take in some fresh air. If your pup does well with others, I’d be happy to take them to your closest dog park for some extra play! I love using pet toys, tug of war, and fetch to help your pup get out all its energy.
