For the first time in my life, I'm living without a dog in my home, and I need some more dogs in my life. I do own two cats, but they're not really fans of leashes. I walked dogs in high school, rain, shine, or snow, and am looking to pick that back up again. I do work full-time, and my schedule rotates weekly, so my availability is typically limited to evenings and weekends, with a bit of flexibility. I have a particular fondness for bigger dogs, having owned pit-mixes mostly, and like bringing dogs on car rides to new parks or trails to explore a little. I am a little shy around new people, so I can understand pets who feel similarly and am willing to work to build a comfortable relationship with more nervous dogs or cats.
