Pet care experience
I have had two dogs in my family, one of whom passed away and one who is still with us. I spent time working in a pet grooming salon and spa in Philadelphia. I worked with a friend of mine who now grooms competitively. It was a high-pressure environment, so developing the communication skills to keep dogs (and people) calm was vital. I have extensive experience handling leashes and collars, impeccable leash control, and I am a fast learner. I have experience bathing dogs as well. I have the utmost respect for the health and safety of your dog and your property. I am also careful, organized, and responsible. I also have experience brushing dogs' teeth at the grooming salon. I have a high energy level myself, so I'm able to to keep up with the strongest, biggest dogs.

Hi. Max was really great. He was dependable and responsive. He gave us "pup"dates with pics each day. Max stayed with Jack for 4 days and when we got home he seemed happy and well cared for. I needed a house sitter at the very last minute. Max returned my message immediately, and worked with me to fill-in a day after I contacted him. He asked a lot of questions about Charlotte and my preferences for her care. The apartment was immaculate when I returned. Charlotte looked happy and relaxed, and he left an incredible note and text letting me know that they were both having a good time. I highly, highly recommend Max, and will definitely be asking him back in the near future.
We are so afraid to leave a great review for Max because we won't be able to get him back again as everyone will want him. He was the very best. Such a nice and very polite young man. He loved our dog. Played with her, walked her a few times a day and kept my house clean just like I left it. He stayed over and was totally trust worthy. There is only good to say about him. He stripped his own bed and put it to be washed. My dog fell in love with Max. They were a perfect fit. When we were stressing over who to get God blessed us with Max. Thank you Jesus.

I would also like to know if there is any history of biting, anxiety, or any particular behaviors/triggers I should avoid doing. I have minor allergies in the midst of double-coated dogs, shedding dogs with heavy coats, or dogs with skin/dander issues. I can absolutely work past this and still provide my best, but advanced notice of those conditions is necessary.
A typical day
I always aim to find the most interesting route for a walk. Whenever I can, I take notice of how my dog responds to changes in our routine, then repeat the ones he enjoyed. I like to try new things, though stability is important to relieve anxiety in our beloved companions. My goal is to keep your dog healthy and in good spirits, occupied, and never bored until you return.
