Pet care experience
I’ve never lived without a dog—nor do I ever plan to. I’ve taken care of two dogs from puppyhood through their twilight years and great now I’m crying. Now I care for and train my pride and joy, Levi, though I do not live with him full-time (to my infinite anguish. Levi if you’re reading this I miss you). I have experience dogsitting for extended periods—up to a month—including giving medication to older dogs, training young ones, bathing them regularly, and showering them with love no matter how smelly or slobbery they may be. I have worked with both active dogs who require lots of playtime and exercise, as well as older and/or smaller dogs that would rather lounge in the sun and take a short stroll to say hi to the neighbors before curling up on the couch. All this to say: I love dogs, and I can’t wait to meet yours!
Reviews
Max took the best care of my dog and my home for the last week! He expertly handled a minor medical situation with my dog and sent me tons of adorable update photos. I will 100% be asking Max to watch Stevie again!
Max is kind, responsible, and a true dog lover. He did a great job taking care of my dog! I know she will be THRILLED to see him again!

I am an obsessively neat person who is quiet at home, aside from practicing guitar, as I do quite rarely (note to self). If I am staying in your home for a short or long term stay, I always vacuum the house, clean all surfaces and appliances, and do the laundry and other cleaning before leaving. If I stay for longer than two weeks, I will wash the dog(s) as well. I am careful to avoid sudden movements or loud volumes, and I build trust through a careful but loving approach to all new furry friends. I like to send a daily or biweekly photo update of/with the pups as well.
Information Max T. would like to know about your pet
Let me know the following: - How often you expect me to walk/feed them - How long they can be left alone - Whether they have any aggression triggers on and off leash - Can they be walked with other dogs? - Do they need to be contained in certain rooms in your home? - Do you need me to work on discipline and training while I’m there with them? - How do they behave with strangers?
A typical day
Dogs need mental and physical stimulation across the board. I love being outside, so I tend to take lots of walks in natural places. If there’s an opportunity for the dogs to get in the water, I am happy to dry them afterwards. I also enjoy teaching dogs new tricks and training behavior, as well as providing dogs with enrichment games that can stimulate them mentally and tend to be just as exhausting for them as physical exercise, if not more so!

I’m currently working a remote job, and I prefer to work from home as I am easily distracted by humans but find that quiet and sleeping pets help me focus. After this job concludes in November, I’ll be between jobs, so I’ll have plenty of time to spend at home with your pups!
