It’s easy to see that animals are playing a larger role in our lives, and working people are choosing to provide them with more options. Loving families with active pets are in search of quality facilities for their four-legged friends, and a bit of peace of mind for themselves. Pau Hana Pet Resort is a Cage-Free Dog Boarding and Doggy Daycare facility. Dogs prefer real homes and outdoor play yards over kennels or warehouses. By their very nature, they require socialization with other dogs and with people, not solitary confinement. At Pau Hana Pet Resort our Doggy Daycare provides your dog with supervised playtime while using adaptive socialization techniques. Our Dog Boarding facilities offer individual pet resort style units. When your dog uses our Boarding facility, they will be integrated into the supervised play group that best suits him or her. This is done carefully and at a pace within each dogs comfort level. Excellent boarders. Friendly, very reasonable cost, dogs treated very well, flexible… overall just excellent. We live on the Hamakua coast but are more than willing to drive the 45 minutes to them to know our pup is well looked after.
Appreciated the honest feedback and the daily updates about how my dog was doing since she tends a be a bit anxious in new situations. Max also came through last minute for an extra day when I changed my flight. Overall, great stay.
At first I was anxious to leave my babies somewhere without me but with regular updates and seeing my dogs happy made me feel more comfortable. I would surely use this service again. Owners were very nice.
They took great care my dog for a week with short notice and even picked him up abs dropped him off for me. Highly recommend!

While everyone has their own thoughts on how to care for a dog, I realize that dogs are as varied and unique as the people I care for, so I look to their family (you) for what's appropriate. I want to know what special needs your dog may have, any dietary or supplementation protocols you have, their immunization records and preferred vet. The more you tell me the better job I can do!
A typical day
While at our home they will receive lots of love and attention, and plenty of opportunity to socialize and play with the other dogs. We have a dog ball pit, a sand box, and a few other outdoor toys.

I run a dog boarding and doggy daycare facility so this is what I do 24/7. We are open 7 days a week from 6am to 6pm.
