Pet care experience
I’ve been living and working with animals for most of my life and it has always been a passion of mine. My dog, Lilly, is over 11 years old now. I house trained her, taught her to walk well on a leash, and also helped her learn a variety of fun tricks! I‘ve spent time volunteering at the Humane Society and at an awesome puppy therapy program. I also lived and worked on a farm for several years and have experience caring for a variety of animals.

Max took care of our 6-month-old puppy Juniper for a day and he was great! He send thoughtful, detailed updates and lots of pictures which was very much appreciated. Juniper is still young so she has a lot of energy and Max handled her very well. We’d be more than happy to use Max as a sitter again!
Max was great! We took Bella for a meet & greet before taking her which made me much more comfortable leaving her 5 days. I received pictures daily. I would definitely recommend Max and hopefully will be able to book with him again.
Max was communicative, responsive, and caring. We got so many photos during our dogs stay. We knew she was well-cared for. We would definitely book with Max again!
Not only is Max responsible and timely, but his love for animals also makes him perfect to take care of any animal, from rats to dogs. Max is knowledgeable and caring, and having him care for my dog would be a favor for me and my dog. He is fantastic.

If you prefer for your dog to be crated then I am happy to do so. I have a small 24” crate, so if your dog requires a bigger one then it would be helpful if you are able to provide it. If not, my apartment has a pet-friendly set up to accommodate for when my dog and my friend’s dogs come to visit and for when my pet rats have free roam time, so there is nothing that your pet should be able to get into. For safety reasons, my rats will be kept in a separate room and will have no contact with your pet. Your pet will be walked on-leash, but there is a big fenced-in field right outside where they can run off-leash if you are comfortable with that!

A typical day
We can go on a walk/run along the bike path, through Centennial woods, or just around the neighborhood. We could also go to the beach and maybe even take a swim in the lake. I could also do some basic training with your dog, or just entertain them with a wide array of toys and treats!
