Hello there! (I've already dog sat for 4 clients - currently I'm trying to figure out how to get the reviews to show up - please help!) I have tons of experience with animals - dogs and cats! My life has pretty much revolved around them! I have volunteered at the DFW humane society for a year now, and before that volunteered at my hometown local animal shelter. I love the DFW area! As a new transplant I'm amazed at the growth of my new community, and the numerous 4 legged friends that require being looked after. I can come to your home in the middle of the day or night and give your pet a much needed potty break or a long walk around the neighborhood. Or you can also drop your pet off at my apartment (pet friendly) or I can drop by and dog sit for the day! Right now, I am just getting into podcasts, so my favorite activity is putting a dog on a leash and going for a walk while getting a dose of "This American Life". I am very reliable and flexible in regards to scheduling, booking, and types of accommodations I offer. My family pet growing up was a golden retriever. He recently passed away, but lived a long life with a few digestive and gastro-intestinal issues. I have vets in my family, and I also live close to an animal hospital. I'm walking around 2 dogs a week so any new additions to my schedule will be easily fit in! Pets will have a yard, fenced in gate, and access to the outdoors at all times as necessary.
