Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs for 8+ years. I worked for a dog shelter in Liberia for 3 years as a volunteer, and then have been taking care of dogs through word of mouth of friends and family since 2004. I have worked with multiple type of breeds, and hacve taken care of pups and senior dogs too. We have a 10 year old beagle, and a 4 year old cane corso - both very dog friendly and playful. We respect the routine that dogs have at home - if sleeping in crate at home, we will provide crate, if sleeping on dog bed, we provide dog bed. Please do not bring dishes or beds for stays, unless it is a very small breed, as we have many beds and dishes, and other dogs may mark new beds by peeing on them We also have a commercial doggie bath in the home, so its very common for dog owners to ask us to bathe their dog before pick up. Make sure to let us know if your pup has triggers or allergies we should be aware of! We can accommodate medication and special diet intake - we have taken care of dogs with diabetes and administered insulin, dry eyes conditions in dogs that require ointments, post surgery care of pups, in heat females (let us know in advance as there are separations in the home we need to accommodate), so there is not much we have not seen or handled, but your transparency about your dogs character and needs is of upmost importance. I am a music producer so work from home. My daughter, 13, is very well versed with dogs also helps out - our home always has animals so they have become a way of life We respect the routine that dogs have at home - if sleeping in crate at home, we will provide crate, if sleeping on dog bed, we provide dog bed. Please do not bring dishes or beds for stays, unless it is a very small breed, as we have many beds and dishes, and other dogs may mark new beds by peeing on them All dog drop offs and pick ups take place in the backyard (double fenced to make sure no dog escapes). We only allow people to enter our home office, but no entry will be allowed in the home -please respect that this is a private residence. We send video and photo updates daily. Make sure you have an emergency contact that we can reach in case of emergency - we had a dog that ended up peeing blood, and without consent we could not take him to the vet, and pray that with painkillers the dog wont deteriorate before the parents could be reached (they were on very long flight to South Africa)

Great caretaker of our pup! Will book again.
Not a good experience. No answer at the front door for several minutes, then finally an older man (no Mawolo or Maria), very heavily accented and hard to understand, appeared to take Max and his food. On pickup, the same thing. It was clear Max hadn’t been out for hours. When we got home he made a beeline to his water, making me wonder if he’d not had any for hours. Today I took Max for a walk and his poops were very runny and full of mucus. This was a very unsatisfactory experience.
You guys did a really good job with my two babies. I could tell they were really loved and enjoyed their stay. Thank you.
Amazing communication and Apollo came back happy!

Please let us know of your dog triggers and dietary / medication requirements. During holidays it is common for dogs to get stressed with fireworks. We put loud music in every room to dampen the sound - make sure to let us know if your dog is particularly sensitive to this.
