I love dogs plain and simple. I have a six pound Chiweenie (chihuahua and dachshund mix) and am fostering a twelve pound Chihuahua until their owner is healthy from Chemo again. They both are friendly once they know their new fur buddy. I previously fostered a terminally ill Shepherd mix for 8 months and can’t commit my heart again to that kind of heartbreak just yet. I figured I’ll help families while they are away from home and keep their fur babies company instead. Being a recent gastric sleeve patient walking is now my favorite and would love company during my walks (my dog isn’t a fan of long walks). Dogs staying at my house will need to be dog friendly.
