I am a very healthy, 57 year old, retired veterinarian. I have nearly 25 years of veterinary experience with species of all kinds; cat, dogs, horses, pigs, cattle, birds, lizards, snakes, lions, cheetahs, apes and all kinds of other exotic animals. I am currently writing a book about my experiences as a veterinarian. I began my career as a large and small animal veterinarian and frequently went to clients homes. At retirement I had a very successful 3 doctor practice. I gained a lot of writing material from my experiences and named my veterinary hospital after my favorite writers' novels, James Herriot's All Creatures series. I think being a home caretaker for animals at this time in my life would enhance my experience as a veterinarian and writer.
