Pet care experience
I have worked with animals of all shapes and sizes - ranging from an African elephant named "Bubbles" to a gang of chameleons. While I love ALL animals, it's safe to say that dogs are my favorite! I have been dog sitting for my family and friends for years, and am so excited to expand my repertoire of canine friends through Rover! I am currently self-employed and run a small business building custom reptile enclosures out of wood. I have a very flexible schedule and work from home most days so I can provide 24 hour care and attention for your pup. I am very active - you can rest assured that your dog will be going on several walks a day. I am also willing to run with your dog!

Maura was great! She was very flexible and let us meet her beforehand so that the pup would be comfortable. She really loves dogs and it shows. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her overnight, and he was a happy guy when we picked him up the next day. She even texted me a picture of him meeting her pet turtle which was very cute. It's also very convenIent that she lives near Paws by Penny, a great groomer. I would highly recommend Maura.
Maura watched our Pitt for 6 nights at her home and i have nothing but great things to say about her stay! She works from home so she was able to give our dog the love and attention a kennel wouldn't be able to provide. She took our dog on multiple walks per day and sent us lots of pictures while we were on vacation. I didnt have to worry while we were away because I knew that Stella was getting great care. If you need a sitter book her :)
She takes care of her sister’s dog Murphy on a daily basis and walks him at least 3 times a day. She genuinely loves to take dogs on walks and always finds dog friendly walking routes with lots of grass and smells (even in the city). She would be a great candidate because she’s the biggest dog lover I know. She loves to walk as much as the dogs do, and she is very responsible and dedicated.
Maura is THE BEST! She has been dog-sitting for me for a couple years now, and I could not be happier. My dog Murphy goes for several long walks every day and never wants to leave Maura when I pick him up! I've never had any issues, and in fact I think my dog's behavior and demeanor have markedly improved since Maura started watching him. She is a true animal lover, and they definitely love her back. I would absolutely recommend Maura to anyone looking for someone to spend some quality time with their pooch!
