Since I was three years old I have grown up with labrador Retrievers. Since I was little my parents gave me the responsibility to take care of my dogs such as feeding them, picking up after them, taking them on long walks, and simply just play with them. I quickly learned there is no greater bond then between a dog and its owner. I love dogs so much that in high school and college I would take care of our friends dogs while they were on vacation, and the dogs ranged from young vibrant dogs to older dogs who needed more TLC. After moving to NYC I quickly learned how much I miss having a dog in my home. Fortunately, my roommate has a smaller dog who I am trusted to take care of when he needs to go away on business or is unable to come home in time to take of the dog. Currently, I work full time Monday-Friday from 9-6 in Manhattan and babysit on the weekends, but my hours fluctuate week to week. Ideally I would love to find a dog sitting job that would need my services after work hours, or whose dog is trained to be alone for at least 8 hours a day during the week if it were a home stay opportunity. I am a big dog person whether the dog is big or small, and I am excited to get started
