I treat all dogs entrusted to me with endearing attention and encouragement. Senior dogs are my specialty, and have a gigantic place in my heart and my history. I have expertise in: administering injectable, oral and topical medication, ensuring a hazard-free setting, lifting and carrying pets over stairs and off furniture, and making accommodations due to vision and hearing impairment. I also have experience caring for dogs with allergies and special diets, anxiety, mobility restrictions, PTSD, epilepsy, and behavioral challenges. ABOUT MY "CAREBNB" +Our calm, spacious Piedmont single-family home has a pleasant indoor/outdoor environment and fully fenced backyard. The dog-friendly setting features multiple spaces dedicated to interactive play as well as quiet downtime. +Two adults (myself & spouse) and one male yorkiepoo Odys ("Otis") comprise the household. We're proud that our pup Odys is accustomed to all sorts of dog guests and serves as a trusty buddy. +I am present and engaged with guest dogs 100% of the time. Dogs are lovingly supervised at all times. **Caring for pets is my only job and my sole focus every day.** I aim to relieve your worries and ensure your pet is healthy, safe, and happy in your absence. I accept booking requests on a case-by-case basis, and screen guest dogs to ensure safety and quality of care. Please don’t hesitate to message me to begin a discussion and schedule a meet and greet in advance of the service dates. *Be sure to specify in your message a day & time you & your dog are available for a "Meet-and-Greet." Whether the booking is for my home or yours, an initial visit to get acquainted is something that I require. ~~~~~~~~~~~ ***** At this time I cannot take puppies under 2 years old for boarding or daycare. (The daycare is currently a haven for a small clique of adult/senior dogs who are irritable to “puppy energy.”) ******* I CAN care for puppies under 2 years old, and pets of any age, in their own homes, although advance planning time is key. **** I cannot book a new dog client for boarding in my home until we have had a meet-and-greet/playdate and ample time to get acquainted. Your dog getting acclimated to the environment and their dynamic with the small group of dogs here is instrumental in making sure I can keep everyone cozy, safe, healthy, and happy. ***** I require proof that your pup is up to date on vaccinations as well as their vet-provided flea and tick prevention regimen. + + + + + + + + + + + + +
