Pet care experience
I have been a sitter/walker for years now as I have been prepping and attending veterinary school. I am originally from New Hampshire in the USA. My previous degree focused in animal behaviour and I have been working as a veterinary assistant in a clinic for over 4 years. I am about to enter my 3rd year of veterinary school. I also worked in a medium capacity dog kennel attached to a animal hospital for 2 years. With this, any service whether I am coming to your house or your pet comes to mine, I am trained to care for most medical situations and can help administer any medications they might have! For any house sitting, visits, or walks, I can guarantee your pooch will have a great time whether that is a lot of exercise to tire your young pup out or a casual slow stroll for your older dog wanted some fresh air and to keep those hips moving. For any daycare or stay at my house, I currently live in a flat directly across from Finsbury Park where we can have some fun. I also can work on any training you might want if they are longer stays as I have worked with behaviorists and trainers over the years. My cat Freyja loves all dogs great and small but is also very respectful of any dog who does not wish to have any feline friends. I also have two flat mates who will be in and out who are also veterinary students!

I am a veterinarian and a professor at a veterinary college. I lived in New Hampshire for two years, during which time Matty Clarkson was my dog and cat sitter. As you can imagine, as a veterinarian, I am very picky about who cares for my pets. Matty took great care of my two cats and my dogs, including two young miniature dachshunds (both with food allergies) and a senior beagle with some behavioral issues. Matty is very knowledgeable about animals and animal health - he has a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (pre-veterinary program) and is currently a veterinary student. He is very responsible, mature, confident and caring. He made sure my allergic dogs didn't get any food that could have induced and allergic response (not always easy as they will try to grab any food they see) and kept my anxious old beagle happy and calm. On the rare occasion that he was worried about something the dogs had done, he quickly called me to make sure I was aware. My dogs and cats absolutely loved him! I could always count on returning home to healthy happy pets and a nice clean house. I can't imagine a better dog sitter than Matty!
Excellent and caring animal owner himself. He thinks of everything and will go to any length to make sure his pets (dogs, cats) are well cared-for and happy. Not only that, but he is sensible when it comes to animals and is well-versed in animal behaviour. I trust him to no end when it comes to my own pets!!
