Pet care experience
About Me 👩🏽 Me and my boyfriend live in a large friendly neighborhood with a ½ acre backyard. I’ve taken care of many different types of animals, ranging from dogs/cats to chickens/goats for the past 6 years and enjoy it so much. I used to work at a vet clinic, so I have lengthy experience boarding, administering medicine, doggy daycare, & full-service baths (ear clean, nail trim, express glands, de-shed options available). I studied Veterinary Medicine and have credited hours/certifications, and plan on pursuing a career that has to do with helping animals! I do school online full-time and will start a work from home job in July so i will be home all day everyday. I have one dog that was recently rescued, Lacey, a 7 year old Lab Mix. She is an old soul who loves other dogs and napping. If your pet does not like her or doesn’t want to be around her, we can separate them during your pet's stay no problem! If at any time no one is home, your pets will have access to the house while Lacey is shut in our room for everyone's safety. I try to make your pets stay as fun and eventful as possible because I genuinely enjoy it (probably more than the pets) and would want the same for my fur babies.

Mattie was absolutely amazing with my dogs! She sent updates and pictures everyday which really put my mind at ease and I loved seeing them play and cuddled up on the couch. Both of my dogs are usually super clingy whenever I come home from vacation and while they were still excited to see me, they've been so calm since coming home, it's like I never left! That more than anything tells me that Mattie took such good care of them :) I will definitely book with her again!
Mattie has done an exceptional job caring for my dog while I was away on deployment. She is well versed in all things pet care and is very knowledgeable. She has great grooming abilities and her experience in this field speaks for itself. She is very compassionate and pays attention to detail very well. I have never had to worry with my pet in her care. She's very responsible and caring. She's a hard worker and responsive. I would recommend her to anyone for pet care.

Walks: 🐕🦺 On our walk, we will go explore the nearby area and adventure. Your pet will set the tone of the walk: if they want to walk slow, we’ll walk slow. If they want to run, we’ll run!

A typical day

Availability
Boarding At My Home 🐾 When you book with me, I have a link to a check-in form to help your pet have the best possible experience. This helps me get to know your pet more and help accommodate their needs. At the end of your pet's stay, your pet will get a personalized pet report card that details how awesome they were & fun activities we did! Your pet will have full access to our 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home. They can sleep on the couch, dog beds, room, wherever they feel most comfortable. In the backyard, there is a kiddy pool (depending on weather, cleaned after each use), plenty of toys, and large water bowls. We go on a walk or two every day around the neighborhood, and would love to have your pet join us if they’re feeling up to it.
