Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Matt and I've been around dogs all my life. From having my family dog to caring for the neighbors' dog, working with the Humane Society, and Rover... Dogs are here to stay. Recently I moved to Waikiki from Pennsylvania where I worked in emergency medicine and law enforcement. Here I will be working from home as a software developer, so I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they need. I also live with two wonderful roommates who help out to make sure there's always someone around. I find it rewarding to work with animals to correct behavioral issues or teach new tricks. Don't hesitate to let me know what you'd like me to work on with them. It builds their trust and confidence, making their stay all the less stressful for them. I have experience with the elderly, medical needs, separation anxiety, submission peeing and more. If I don't already know how to tackle your dog's special needs, I'll happily research and learn.

Leilani's stay with Matthew was woof, woof... she did well with Matthew & although she is keeping an eye (Okay, so I'm to blame) on me, and keeps close, she is well adjusted, and has not peed on my leg to indicate her displeasure at being boarded. Thanks, Matthew
Matt was great about looking after our dog. He sent us updates and pictures of her which was great for me to know she was doing well. I would recommend and would ask Matt to look after her again if we needed a sitter.
Matthew is a very kind and calm person when we first met him. It was our first time using Rover and Matthew put us at ease. When we dropped our dogs off for daycare he welcomed us into his home and showed us where they would be staying. Matthew asked great questions in helping him get to know our dogs. When we went to pick up our dogs, they greeted us with smiles and Matthew’s assurance that they did great in there first day. Overall we are very happy with the experience and would ask Matthew to watch our dogs again.

Pictures are worth a thousand barks and on this island, I can't resist pulling out my camera to snap a majestic shot. You can consider your pet to be right on their way to a modeling career!
