Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages over the past five years. I love being able to exercise with a companion if that be around the house, at a park, or on a walk.

Matthew is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I can’t say enough good things about him and his care for our dog! We have been using his boarding services through Rover for over a year now and appreciate him so much.
Matthew was a very communicative and loving caretaker of our dog Porter. I got walk photos and video updates throughout his stay. It is clear maybe Matthew loves dogs and treats each with love. Our boy Porter was very content and happy at pickup. I couldn't recommend Matthew more!
Matthew was fantastic. Super communicative and so sweet to Desi! He sent me daily photo updates and was super flexible with my timing as I had to add an extra day. Would highly recommend to anyone! Plus he lives on the ground floor and across the street from a dog park so great for dogs who are afraid of elevators like mine!
Matthew was amazing with Bruce! Great communication throughout the stay, and lots of pictures and cuddles with our little guy. Would absolutely recommend. Thank you, Matthew!

Within my home, dogs are allowed to roam where ever they please. I am a much more go with the flow type of person, nothing too strict when it comes to areas they're allowed. When it comes to a client's home, I will follow the rules they provide and be able to restrict the dog from areas that are off limits.

What information is important to know about a dog ahead of time? The things that are important for me to know ahead of time would be: eating schedule, typical amount of potty breaks, average walk length (I can go long distances if your dog is equipped!), etc!
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks along the Boardwalk at Lady Bird Lake! I live on the river so I take advantage of this amenity frequently. In the warmer months (90+ degrees) I only walk in the mornings and before sunset. I love to also take the dogs I am watching (with permission) to the dog parks in my complex and nearby. This allows me to bring the dogs I watch outdoors rather then be cooped-up inside.

Availability
I am currently working a full-time remote first tech sales job. I am able to work from home which allows me to give attention during week days. I am a very chill and relaxed person, so nights and weekends allow for time spent to play, go on walks, etc.
