Pet care experience
Howdy! My name is Matthew Mirike and I graduated in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science at Texas A&M University. I am now a veterinary student at Texas A&M University (Class 26’) and have an abundance of hours associated with small/large animals. I have also been working/shadowing at small animal clinics for approximately 4 years where I have shadowed many clinical procedures and have served as a kennel technician/veterinary assistant. Through these experiences, I have obtained knowledge concerning boarding animals, animal behavior, medicating household pets, clinical procedures, and can accommodate just about any needs your pet has. I would love to provide a service involving animals for some extra experience towards the veterinary program while allowing myself to fund my schooling. Through my training and excess time in the clinic, I believe I can serve just about any request while keeping your best friend safe. Matthew was great! We had a super early flight out and a late return flight and he was so helpful with working out how we could get Ginger to and from his house. He sent daily texts with pictures or videos attached. I would absolutely use him again!!

During days that I know will be hectic in veterinary school, I will avoid booking clients. It is my goal to accept bookings when my schedule allows to ensure proper care. It is my priority to only book a client if I can give it my full attention.
