Hi I'm Matt! I love all furry friends, the great outdoors, and if possible enjoying both at the same time😁 I have been sitting, training, and walking dogs for 12 years through friends and family. Some of my regular doggos include Sophie the German Shepard, Arora the golden retriever, Max the black lab and many more! My two dogs Lexi, and Bo Jangles are super friendly and welcomes everyone into our pack! I live in Shelton and frequent nearby spots like Webb mountain, Sleeping Giant, the Shelton dog park, Lake Mohegan, and local rail trails! I like to get to know my furry friends by introducing myself with a treat and a walk. Who doesn't like that!? My place is certainly available for boarding if needed. I am home everyday and can offer frequent potty breaks and undivided attention! We can't wait for you to join our pack!

Matthew has been a wonderful caretaker for our elderly cat and I would use his services again in a heartbeat! He was very quick to reply to messages, sent regular updates and pictures. He was diligent and proactive and I felt confident my pet was in good, loving, hands.
Matt watched our English Mastiff, Macallan for a week. He was great about sending us updates and photos. He even had to care for an unexpected health issue. We recommend Matt highly and will definitely be using him again.

Matt has been so helpful with our new dog. We adopted a rescue dog 2 months ago and Matt made a point of coming over the next day to meet Marina and get to know her. He immediately sat down so she wouldn't be frightened and spent almost 2 hours with her petting her and being so kind with her. She loved him immediately and he has been open to our constant questions and offers us advice regularly. We wouldn't hesitate to have him care for her when we go on vacation. I highly recommend Matt!

I live I'm a 2 bedroom apartment, dogs are allowed pretty much everywhere, yes it is also puppy proofed. I live about a 20 minute walk from some great parks and places to exercise! My condo complex, Steven's Terrace, is doggo friendly and has a few community lawn areas that are not fenced in.

I always ask about allergies, if they are friendly with other dogs and people and what type of energy level they have. I always ask about any other physical issues or medications dogs might be on to ensure they enjoy their time safely with me.
A typical day
I wake up at 6 am, greet whatever furry friends and usually start the day with a walk for about half an hour to an hour. Then break to eat breakfast, try to get some school work in, and then preform whatever else I had scheduled for my day. Some places I like to take my friends are Webb Mountain, the rail trail, the shelton dog park, East Rock, West Rock,Sleeping Giant, or Silver Sands?
