Pet care experience
I have cared for every type of dog from chihuahuas to mastiffs. I started pet sitting for my neighbors when I was in high school and fell in love with caring for animals. I believe a happy dog/cat is a happy house. I walk, bathe, administer medications, play at the park, go for rides and whatever it takes to make sure the pet is happy and healthy.

Our golden retrievers have enjoyed Matt’s caregiving services for over 5 years. We can always count him to give the upmost attention and care while we are away. He sends updates along the way to reassure us that all is well. We highly recommend Matt, he loves animals.
What can we say about Matt and his love for dogs and cats? It is not enough to say that he likes them, it is not enough to say he loves them but I can say that he does care for them and treat them as if they are his very own puppies or kitties. He respects and enforced the rules their owners have set down all while loving them just as you would. What can I say about my dogs and cats and their love for Matt? They always are excited to see him and they listen and obey him. They love to greet him and received him with joy. My wife and I have had Matt take care of our dogs and cats for years. For our long trips to the mainland our short trips to other islands. We always find them well cared for and everything in order, neat and clean. We have complete trust and confidence in Matt to care for and respect our home and for our dogs and cats.
Matt has watched our dogs on several occasions. He is very communicative, sends pictures, updates us daily and gives excellent care to our two dogs. He is an animal lover who enjoys spending time with them. He is very responsible and always on time.
Matt has watched my 3 senior Italian Greyhounds multiple times. He has the patience of mother Teresa lol bc my girls are special needs and he took excellent care of them. He is comfortable administering medication and caring for elderly dogs. Matt would always send pictures and videos and it reassured my anxious mind that my girls were well taken care of. Matt has an obvious love for people and animals, and it shows through his words and actions. I highly recommend Matt as a pet sitter for any pet!

I am unable to have pets at my place so I live vicariously through outer people’s pets and that makes me happy. Depending on the client I will either walk their dogs in the afternoon/evening or stay with the pets at their house. I believe this makes the animals more relaxed and less stressed out when they are in their own environment. I also set alarms, lock all doors and do whatever needs to be done to ensure the home is secure and the pets are safe.

I love going on walks with dogs, taking them to the park and playing games. I’ve also taken dogs for rides and to the beach

Availability
I work from 5 AM to 2:30 PM. So would be unable to let the dog out between those times or take them for a walk. But I’m free after work to sit or walk. When I stay the night I let the dogs out right when I wake up, feed them and then let them out again before I leave for work.
