Pet care experience
Finding a dog walker in the city can be rough. Sniff about no further! Looking for a walker? Going on a longer trip? Need a border? I’m your guy! Some dogs can balk at being walked by a professional, with only a few recurring walks you'll find your pup is less serious, happier and healthier. If you don't live near a park, I can find cool spots in the city for you, or let your pup take the lead for a while. I'm available most mornings, weekdays, weekends and evenings. Being sensitive to your pup's needs, and helping them improve, is what I strive for. I am happy to help your dog get the attention that they deserve! That is what Rover is all about!

Matthew is awesome. He does such a great job with my elderly dog Zoe. I have him walk her every Monday and he leaves the best notes about their time together. I can also count on Matthew to help when I go out and can’t make it back home. I’ve called on him at the last minute several times and he always comes through.
Absolutely AMAZING!, super friendly and did an amazing job with my puppy Lily, stayed with her while I was out, took her potty every hour and even did some basic training with her. I would Highly recommend Matthew.
Matthew was amazing with my dog, Bentley. A natural with dogs and was so good with giving my dog exercise and attention that he needs. I will definitely request Matthew in the future.

I like to ask owners how their pup does with other dogs and other people. Are they good with children? I am also interested in how often they exercise and what is a normal level of activity for them. These questions help me determine distances of walks or proper pace so as not to overwhelm them.
A typical day
I enjoy finding parks and open spaces where dogs can stretch their legs or see more natural spaces. A great deal of an urban dog’s existence can be spent cooped up indoors. For this reason I try to be creative, and look for opportunities for them to spend some quality time getting fresh air.
