Having been raised with many furry friends, I long for the day I can get a dog of my own. But SF leases have never allowed me this luxury. I realized I can radiate my pet affection into shelter animals, which I still do, but I soon learned volunteer time is not quite the definition of flexible. So while I still very much enjoy my time at Wonder Dog Rescue, I need more pets in my in my everyday life. All this considered, here I am: arms wide open to receive all the paws. I've been walking friends puppies and house sitting for a few kitties this year, and I always find joy in my time with the animals. I especially love helping them (and myself) exercise, and surrendering to much-needed moments of just play!. I'm very familiar with basic signs of distress and dietary ailments. I must say, I've taken care of some very picky and particular pets in my time. (And not to toot my own horn, but even the crankiest of cats has been known to warm up to me and beg for a belly scratch.) I know with every pet I would watch under Rover, I would be made aware of foreseeable emergency situations, and I am confident I can react in a calm and responsible manner. I have attended heavily to pets with special needs and my utmost concern is making pets feel safe and comfortable in their own surroundings. Beyond that, I love to discover their personalities and let them be happy healthy little creatures! My availability is anytime Friday through Sunday, and evenings Monday and Tuesday. I'm very physically active and would love to take your dogs for a run through the city, or a stroll through the park! I truly love animals, and it makes me so happy to think of spending a few hours with different pets each day. Thank you for your time considering my application!
