I grew up in a household of dogs. We first had Yorkshire and Cairn Terriers and then Golden Retrievers. And my best friend and I fostered an Alaskan Malamute while living in Oakland. So, I'm very experienced with shedding, caring for thick coats, howling, and high energy. I'm happy to work with you to find a good time to take your dog for a walk, or just to check up on your puppy to make sure they're okay. I miss my pooch playtime, and I'd love to play with your dog! And while I didn't grow up with cats, I've gotten to care for so many different animals through Rover that I consider myself to be experienced with them as well. *See the pictures above for a selection of some of my most recent clients. I work out of Beverly Hills most weekday afternoons, but am flexible around that. But as much as possible, I appreciate advanced notice so I can plan to be free when you need me. I also like meeting with new pets and pet owners prior to the first walk/house sitting request so everyone can feel comfortable with the arrangement. Day of requests can work on occasion. But generally, we both need more time to ensure your pet will be taken care of while you’re away. When we meet, please share all the details of your arrangement. Sometimes, it's not always intuitive what service to select, or if you need to ask for something in addition to what is listed on my profile. And sometimes, you may be overpaying for services I can provide for less money on your end (it's happened multiple times before). This is also why a meet and greet is a necessary step. I want to make sure the arrangement is fair for both me and you. *For overnight house sitting, I guarantee I'll be with your pet(s) from 7pm-7am. Throughout the day, I will spend as much time with your pet(s) as possible given my own schedule for the day. But at this time, I'm not able to accommodate animals that cannot be left alone for up 6 hours. Based on whatever you need, I can meet your requests for keeping your pet safe. I do not bring your pet to my home or to anywhere not approved by you first. If you have specific requests for how you’d like me to engage with your pet, I’m more than happy to follow that. In general, I find that my calm demeanor helps keep anxious pets from getting too wild when their human is away.
