Pet care experience
I’ve had Great Danes on many occasions, to include fostering Danes for a few years. I like all dogs, but especially large-breed dogs. I had labs growing up as well.

Matthew was AMAZING with our dog! He was super communicative and gave him plenty of attention. We would recommend him for any dogs, especially ones who need a little extra love due to anxiety.
Matthew was absolutely wonderful. By far the best Rover experience thus far. Matthew took Moxley on several walks and even has a huge fenced in backyard. I got a ton of picture updates. I HIGHLY recommend.
Matt has a tremendous love for animals, especially dogs! He previously assisted me with my own Rover assignments. He was so excellent and involved that he was encouraged to create his own account. Matt is very active. He will undoubtedly take your pet for trail runs (if you desire) and play with them in his fenced backyard until they're all tuckered out. He'll then lay on the floor with them as they take a good snooze. He's experienced with all breeds, tiny and GIANT. He previously owned a Great Dane and has many years of listening to my stories from work in veterinary medicine. I whole-heartedly give him my recommendation and can assure you that your pets will be loved and cared for beyond expectation.

I have a fenced in yard for play, and live close to a park and a dog park. I have a truck with plenty of room for dogs as well. I also have a large crate if necessary (or you cannot bring your own).

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or considerations. Also let me know if your dog doesn’t like riding or going out in public. If your dog is staying with me for more than a day or two, I would like to get a copy of current shot records, just in case. This will also help me ensure your dog is safe and protected if/when I take them places with me. I would always prefer to do a meet and greet prior to watching your pet as well, to ensure a good fit.
A typical day
I love having dogs around the house. I will play with them as much as I can, and if the weather is nice I live near the Chesapeake Arboretum and the city dog park and would love to take them either place for activities.
