“Reliable Dog Care with a Personal Touch
Pet care experience
Dogs have always had a special place in my heart. Right now, I’m lucky to share my life with two amazing dogs—Nala, who’s with me from a past relationship, and Betty, who’s with my new partner and her mum. They both bring so much joy and love into my life. We still all share them, so they’re with me sometimes, and other times they’re at their other homes. I love the moments we get to hang out, whether it’s walking in the woods, soaking up nature, or just chilling on weekends with their happy energy and wagging tails. They remind me daily how lucky I am to have such loyal companions around.
Reviews

Matt was super friendly, helpful and responsive and took excellent care of our dog, Evie, over a long weekend away. We received lots of updates and photos and could tell she was having a great time - thank you, Matt!

Safety, trust & environment
When I care for pets, whether it’s in their home or mine, it really depends on the dog’s personality and needs. Some dogs might need a bit more quiet time, while others are all about play and adventure. Either way, my focus is always on making sure they’re happy and comfortable. I give them the attention they need—whether it’s playtime, walks, or just cuddles. It’s all about making sure they’re having fun and feeling cared for, no matter where they are.

A typical day
A typical day with the dogs starts with a morning walk. Betty, the Jug, doesn’t need a long walk, so we usually do a quick loop around the block with both dogs. After that, I drop Betty back home and head out again for a longer walk with Nala. Once we’re back, they get their breakfast, then just chill around the house, playing with their toys or napping. Lunchtime rolls around, so I let them outside for a bit of fresh air and playtime. Later in the afternoon, we repeat the walk routine, and after their tea, it’s time to wind down. They both love curling up on the sofa for some chill time with me to finish the day.

I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule, so I’m around a lot of the time. My girlfriend is a nanny, so she’s usually home by the afternoon. Between the two of us, there’s always someone here to hang out with the dogs and keep things chill. It works out great, especially since we can both give them attention whenever they need it.
