Pet care experience
Ive always loved dogs and I haven't found many who dont love me back. But back in my college days I had the opportunity to gain professional animal care skills. I managed a pet store that required a lot of animal husbandry training; everything from reptile diet to puppy psychology. At this particular place of employment I was constantly around dogs and puppies of all ages and breed (not only did our store have puppies but we also worked with local shelters to find adult to senior dogs homes). While that career is far in the review for me, I have kept up with offering animal care to family, friends, and clients. I genuinely like to understand each dog I work with to become someone they trust and welcome.

Matthew is a thoughtful and conscientious animal lover; so pleased to have found him for drop in visits when I have to travel for work. He is wonderful with Ryder and great with communication. We have 100% confidence in Matthew, and feel totally comfortable leaving Ryder in his care.

Matthew is an amazing dog dad and very diligent in his dogs exersize, as well as caring for his friend's dogs. They go to the dog park everyday, rain or shine, get the best food on the market, and often get walked for miles at a time to keep them entertained and healthy. He is a crusader for treating a dog well. He has had contact with thousands of dogs, and can train a dog well since he had worked with new pet owners when he worked at a pet store. I personally have seen him treat his dogs and others dogs like family and is never cruel to any pup. He would treat yours like queens and kings.

I will care for your pet like they are my own. Exercise and affection are routine and toys and treats are given when allowed. During overnight stays pets sleep in bed with me unless I'm told to crate, in which case they will remain crated. My goal is simply to maintain as much routine for you and your furry family members as much as I possible can.

I live next to 2 dog parks where your dog and I will enjoy daily romps and playtime with other dogs. I also enjoy to run and walk with them depending on preference and my dogs and I frequent moderate to long hikes.

I'm a full time science educator with my own furry family, but I offer walks/check in visits during the mornings and evenings. I also offer overnight sitting or boarding when I have the availability.
