I have had a dog in my house since I was 8 years old. Over the years, I’ve had 7 pups ranging from small to large and had relationships where they had dogs as well. In college, I fostered a total of 4 dogs which I admit was hard because I had to see them go. I’ve rescued 2 from a puppy mill and helped them become happy and playful pups after years of neglect. I rescued another who was abused by what I believe was a man because he only would trust me and no other men. He was a nervous dog but over time became more accumulated and comfortable with humans and other dogs. I fostered one dog who gave birth 8 hours before I got her and I eventually adopted the new born puppy once she turned 8 weeks. I have a wide range of experiences with dogs and training them according to their needs.
