Pet care experience
I’m still newish to the Denver area as of May 2021 and I’m looking forward to meeting all the dogs! I have a seven year old mixed breed dog named Rudy and he’s my everything! I love all dogs regardless of size and breed and I have completed 4000+ services. I have experience with cats as well and I love cuddles with any furry friend. I have experience with shy and timid dogs, needy dogs, elderly dogs, and administering medicines. I love enjoying the outdoors with all four legged companions and I make sure all the pets I take care of are showered with love and attention! I provide multiple updates a day and try to be as open and honest as possible in my communications. Here are some additional preferences and notes: -Preferred service area: South of 100th, North of Colfax, West of I-25, East of CO93. -Walks and drop-ins are my preferred services to provide. -Demand has spiked in the last few months (super thankful for the work!) so any flexibility in timing is greatly appreciated. Keep in mind that lunch time and mornings are the most popular service time for walks. I try hard to accommodate but ask that the times be flexible. A 2-3 hour window usually works best for me. Strict scheduling is difficult and stressful for me, my schedule often gets tight. -No 60 min walks when outside temperatures are above 85 degrees F. Extreme heat is dangerous for dogs. Please book 30 min walks instead. -Limited weekend availability. -Texts are HIGHLY preferred, no calls please unless it’s an emergency. -Please be respectful of my time when it comes to meet and greets as I’m not compensated for them. -Sittings will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Due to the nature of sittings it’s difficult to accommodate the services with a full walking schedule. I also have my own dog to tend to as well. No sittings where full time stay is required will be accepted. -No retractable leashes please. Leashes need to be fixed length no longer than 6’ and in good condition (no rips or tears) Besides providing pet care services I like to play music, spend time with my dog, hike, rock climb, and eat good food.

Matthew is always so great with my dog Mick! I have used Matthew to walk and care for Mick numerous times, and he’s always so caring and attentive with him. Matthew is definitely a go-to for my dog and I know Mick loves seeing him every time!
Matthew did a great job checking on my cats for a few days while I was out of town! He was prompt and responsive whenever I messaged him and the cats seemed to have a great time!
Matthew is great! We are very happy with his work and professionalism. Most of all, Walter digs him. 🐾

I am very respectful of your space! I try to leave the place as clean as it was before I enter. I’m usually pretty good about notifying you if something seems out of place or if the pet makes a mess or has an accident. I usually bring in small packages sitting on the porch during the day and I make sure the place is locked up before leaving. I don’t mind if you have cameras, I treat your place the same whether there is cameras or not.

A typical day
I love walks as long as the dog is walkable, the area is safe, and it’s not too hot! I walk over 10 miles a day and don’t mind putting in more miles. I prefer to walk in parks and in neighborhoods that have sidewalks.

Availability
Dog walking is my main gig at the moment! I prefer walks and drop-ins. I usually walk starting early morning and go until around 3PM. Mornings and lunchtime are the most in-demand times. Please allow flexibility in service times. 30 min walks usually work better for my schedule than 60 min walks.
