Matt & Donna's Culver City Retreat
Pet care experience
We are animal lovers currently without any four-legged residents. Both retired, in between our travels we're looking forward to hosting some canine friends preferably two years old or older. Our home is pet friendly with full access to an enclosed back yard. We like to get our exercise, so walking the dogs is our pleasure. When dogs are with us, our home is their home. We volunteer at pet rescue centers, and occasionally have fostered for Westside German Sheppard Rescue. We are a single household provider. We only take dogs from one household/family at a time. For new hostings, we require a meet-and-greet. We like to be sure all of us, dogs included, will be happy with the stay in our home. Hope to meet you soon. Generally, we entertain boarding requests for dogs with a minimum of a two night stay. Thanks, and contact us with any questions.

Matt & Donna are wonderful, friendly people and the perfect dog sitters. They took my golden retriever Oscar for a weekend. I got regular photo updates and he had the best time with them. He got lots of love and attention during his stay. I would recommend Matt & Donna to anyone looking for a responsible sitter.
This was Kuma's first Rover stay. Although Kuma was nervous, Matt and Donna could not have been more attentive. They went above and beyond to make Kuma comfortable. We could not recommend them more. They are a lovely couple and our pooch was in the best of hands. We are eternally grateful for their superb care.
Absolutely wonderful sitters! I so appreciate Matt and Donna's love for large dogs and felt very secure leaving my protective German Shepherd with them. We received daily photo updates and they were very communicative with anything and everything that was going on. And most importantly of all, my dog had the best time with them! Thank you again for everything, I will definitely look for availability in the future!

Our house is entirely hard wood flooring, except for tile in the kitchen. It's not common, but we've had dogs that were uncomfortable on what was to them a slippery floor. If your dog is leery of uncarpeted houses, our home may not be to their liking.
A typical day
We have a walking route around our neighborhood, up to a mile if the dog is ready for it. We'll do that walk at least twice a day. We enjoy playtime in our back yard. While we allow dogs on our furniture and bed, we don't create 'bad habits' either. If you don't allow dogs up there in your home, we won't here.
