I had a dog for 14 years, a corgi, who I was the primary person in the house who took care of him. He also had diabetes for the last year of his life, so I gave him insulin through a needle twice a day. I enjoy taking care of dogs, and I have been missing it since my dog passed away last year, of old age at 14 years old. I am free all day, and would like to make extra money as I wait to find a job since I graduated from NYU from graduate school. I recently spent a week staying at my friends place in Brooklyn taking care of their dog and cat while they were away in the U.K. I walked their dog 2-3 times a day, and gave their dog medication for diabetes. I have given dogs baths, and can handle dogs with difficult temperaments.
