Pet care experience
Lifelong dog owner. I grew up with large dogs (German Shephard, Rhodesian Ridgeback, and a Lab) and have been a proud dog parent to some smaller breeds in my adult life. I was fortunate enough to have 10 amazing years with my Corgi Baxter. Sadly he was taken by cancer in 2021. Our resident lapdog is a 10 year old Chihuahua mix named Tiki. She loves to spend her days curled up in the sunlight, nestled under a blanket, or bird watching from the window. Our newest addition is a rescue from Romania named Matie. She is a little over 1 year old now and it has been a true joy watching personality emerge as she gone from the street to the sofa. Every dog expresses their affection differently. I love finding each dog's unique way of showing their affection and allow them to show it to me again and again. My wife and I recently relocated to Wiesbaden and would love the opportunity to explore our new city while caring for your pups. Thank you for your consideration
Reviews
Our two corgi boys were in good hands with Matt. Our house was just as we left it when we came back and both dogs seemed very happy. ?
Matt is a really nice guy and he took good care of my dog. Definitely going to book him again!
You will not find a more caring sitter for your precious pet. Matt loves all animals and will treat them as his owe. I promise. Betty N

Information Matt W. would like to know about your pet
Things can happen in an instant so I find it very important to know a dog's level of reactivity to things they could possibly encounter on a walk out in the world. Preferences, likes, and dislikes are all crucial information to ensure a dog stays safe and comfortable.
A typical day
I know first hand from our two dogs that one size does not fit all. We do shorter walks for our small senior and longer walks for our larger pup. Mental stimulation is just as important as physical so I like to allow dogs with more energy have their noses guide them while maintaining their safety.
