I grew up on a farm in East Texas. We always had at least three dogs and I always wanted to be the one taking care of them. When I moved to NYC at 19 I decided that dog-walking would be my job while I pursued writing. I worked as a walker/sitter for 3 years until I got a writing gig. However, I've realized that I deeply miss it and would love to start again.
