Pets, especially dogs have been a large part of my life since I was a child. I have experience with all shapes and sizes. At one point I had seven well behaved dogs living with me. I definitely have a very special way with them. Special healthcare needs are no problem. I have pretty much seen it all over the years. I also have a lot of experience with senior pets.

My home is a safe clean place for your pet to relax and be pampered. Individual pet care will be tailored to your pet to ensure the best experience possible. I live on a large piece of land that is mostly fenced. Great opportunities for dogs that are good off leash! I have a nice area set up in my living room where pets can lounge on their bed, soak up some pets, or just have fun with a toy. The rest of the house is pet friendly but we tend to stay in the living room so I can keep an eye on them. I do not care for more than one pet at a time unless they are from the same family and are under 100 lbs. I won’t take your dog to parks or the beach without specific clearance from you. This is for your pets safety. Your pet will always be supervised. I do not have pets currently so your pet will be priority number one.

Before I spend time with your pet I’ll need to know a lot about their personality. How reactive to other dogs or humans they don’t know are they? Are they able to be off leash without running away? Do they have health issues of any kind? If so what are the treatments? Are they prone to chewing? What’s their general level of training? What are your preferred commands? What’s the pets daily schedule including activities, feedings, bathroom times, etc. These are some of the things I need to know before caring for your pet.
A typical day
A wide array of activities are available depending on your dogs needs. We can walk or run on my property, redwood park, or at the beach. Some dogs enjoy a game of hide and seek. Some would rather treats and a paw massage. It really is up to you and your pet what activities we do. Most likely we will do things your pet already enjoys and feels comfortable doing. Going to places with similar effect.

Availability
I work for myself so I make my own schedule. This allows me to tailor your pets experience as necessary. In my experience pets already have a daily routine. My goal is to closely mimic that schedule to make your pet feel comfortable. If there are particular times for walks or play that’s no problem. I’ll try to adhere to that schedule as much as possible. Also, if there are special places your pet enjoys or just places you feel comfortable with (nearby) I can easily include them in the itinerary.
